The Centre is an initiative of the Living Roots Foundation, which is registered as a Society under the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act of 1983. It's registration number is MEG-ROS/2025/00315
Niti Aayog / Darpan
The Foundation has registered with Niti Aayog, Government of India under the registration number ML/2025/0607493
Financial Compliance
The Foundation affirms full compliance with all procedural financial obligations prescribed by the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act, 1983. This includes maintaining accurate books of accounts and conducting annual statutory audits, demonstrating its commitment to transparency and accountability

Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy
All individuals working with the Living Roots Foundation, staff, board members, interns, consultants, volunteers, partners, and contractors, must comply with our PSEA policy and complete a UN-designed online PSEA course before starting any engagement.
