Rajesh Ranjan
Rajesh Ranjan is a Non‑Resident Fellow at the Centre for Policy.
He is a lawyer and researcher based in London and a Chevening Scholar currently reading for a Master of Laws at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
Mr Ranjan has held positions with the Supreme Court of India’s Centre for Research and Planning and the National Legal Services Authority of India. He was awarded the Samta Fellowship in recognition of his pioneering work to advance constitutional literacy across India.
A regular commentator on legal and public affairs, his writing has appeared in The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Wire and The Telegraph.
At the Centre he contributes legal insight to research and policy programmes, supports evidence‑based analysis, and helps translate research into practical recommendations for policy and public engagement.
